Still been meaning to give this a go... did you manage to get it working?
Re: Windows 7 H@D
nope, single player still works just fine, but hosting a co-op game "fails to initialize"
Re: Windows 7 H@D
This is a problem with Windows 7/Vista Direct Play Network support. Windows 7/Vista machines can join games but not host games.
Somehow it is possible to fix this problem, a friend of me had Windows Vista an managed it to host games, but he can`t remember how. I think you must install some DirectPlay Helpers, but i dont know which one.
I recommend making a virtual PC with Windows XP an host it there.

Good idea but the virtual PC would have to be a player as well wouldn't it? And you can't hi-jack spots in Deluxe like in the original.NilsZ wrote: I recommend making a virtual PC with Windows XP an host it there.

Actually, much to my annoyance, one of my brothers was somehow able to hijack my character during gameplay...Jason wrote:Good idea but the virtual PC would have to be a player as well wouldn't it? EDIT: In the Deluxe version of course.

Sometimes you can hijack a soldier if the game lags.
If you press Delete many times you can also capture the control, but i think this works only when you are the host.
