Untill we find a way on how to edit hd2's game files, 3ds max tuts are useless

They aren't useless, thanks Jack 
Modelling in 3d max is hard! Deluxe has full modding & editing support so it will always be useful
I'm just on a break from Deluxe editing but I will return in full force once the Sabre Squadron stuff is done
