Hidden & Dangerous has a good excuse for only having snippets of music to emphasize the mood, and that is the fact that the game was made before the 21st century. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hello everyone,

i further updated the Norway 3 mission and made it more stealth-focused.

List of changes:

-> now shots and explosions in the heavy water production hall and corridors leading to it will spawn reinforcements (2 halftracks on both sides of the main road and a patrol boat in the harbor). Shooting silenced weapons such Sten MK.IIS won't alert the enemy prematurely though;

-> repositioned some enemies and changed their behavior (now they guard or patrol different areas).

This newest Norway 3 mission update is included in the latest H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod 2.8 version release uploaded today on ModDB. I also attached it below, however you will still need the mod itself to be installed first in order for this update to work properly.

Unpack the content of Norway3 update RAR archive into your root H&D Deluxe install directory. Replace files when asked.

Hello everyone,

i further updated the Norway 4 mission.

List of changes:

-> now the player is not allowed to be in the vicinity of certain areas of the bunker despite wearing disguise. Those are: the final doors leading to the base commander office and to the underground tunnel. In both cases you will need to eliminate guards first in order to get safely through, otherwise after a while your cover will be blown and they will open fire;

-> placed a warning sign (imported from Medal of Honor Allied Assault) on doors leading to base commander office and to the tunnel - explaining why the guards will become hostile when we walk through these doors;

-> placed 2 stationary guards outside the bunker - they will guard both entrances to the submarine base;

-> various bugs fixed.

Hello everyone,

i further updated the Norway 5 mission.

List of changes:

-> now the player is not allowed to be in the vicinity of certain areas of the submarine base despite wearing disguise. Those are: the final doors leading to the crew preparation room and open hatch with torpedoes on the submarine itself. In both cases you will need to eliminate guards first in order to get safely through, otherwise after a while your cover will be blown and they will open fire. However, if you manage to eliminate the group of chasing soldiers silently at the mission start point, you will still be able to remain undetected inside the base as long as your disguise works and if you don't get close to restricted areas mentioned above;

-> placed a warning sign (imported from Medal of Honor Allied Assault) on doors leading to the crew preparation room - explaining why the guards will become hostile when we walk through these doors;

-> repositioned some guards inside the submarine base;

-> made previously unusable doors leading to some rooms functionable (now you can open and close them);

-> various bugs fixed.

Hello everyone,

i further updated the Poland 1 mission.

List of changes:

-> as an Easter Egg i added radio in one of the hangars (radio model itself was imported from Return to Castle Wolfenstein PC game), that will play main theme from famous British TV comedy series "Allo Allo" (music downloaded from Youtube). The music will stop playing if you destroy the radio or trigger general alarm. I thought, that the Poland 1 mission scenario of our commando team escaping to England by plane with British agent / pilot is fitting to the story of "Allo Allo". Plus we got shot down later. ;)

-> tactical map updated (added switchable roofs to both hangars and main airfield building);

-> improved lighting effects in both hangars.

Well, maybe its only known in Europe. Anyway, the action takes place in small occupied French village during WW2 with lots of memorable characters, specific British humour and funny one-liners.

However, seeing the opening... I must say that the music would be more appropriate in Prague 1, in front of the restaurant.

-> added a warning sign, table and chair in the room next to the one in which the agent is being held;

-> changed the behavior of the soldier staying next to the door leading to the room with captured agent to guard duty.

Hello everyone,

following recent Abdelhady Mohamed let's play of my H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod on Youtube i updated the Poland 2 mission.

List of changes:

-> now its easier to access the landing craft gunner seat entry point (i made it bigger);

-> now the landing craft gunner seat entry point is marked by small red cross that could be seen on the tactical map and in the mission itself;

-> updated video briefing - now it shows that the landing craft has mounted MG on it.

Hello everyone,

-> added a usable ladder at the pier to help the player reach the driveable pontoon (see picture below);

-> replaced one of the Flak 88 guns with a pair of Flak 20mm anti-aircraft guns (see picture below);

-> repositioned some of the enemy soldiers plus changed their behavior;

-> updated tactical map view.

heyy first of all i want to thank you all guys for making this game alive all those years especially our modders who are making something even developers back then couldnt I was shocked when i saw how alive is community for a game that is almost 30 years old

well yesterday i downloaded "ultimate mod" from moddb and it was amaizing i must say, but i noticed something, I saw before here on forum that individual faces of soldiers are big deal and fixing them would be game changer so I noticed that when you start mission all soldiers have the same face, face from one of 4 soldiers you pick, but I played a little bit with cheats and cheat "fullhands" so I gave every soldier different uniform and boom, every soldier had their individual face here is pic of it https://ibb.co/5YMBgdS (idk how to upload pic directly here haha :') ),

so I tought (first of all im not modder or anything haha just some basic knowledge of game design, so please dont be hard on me if i say something stupid hahaha) so i tought maybe if you could somehow make the copy of same model and uniform and give them different names, for example idk "sasuniformyugoslavia1" "sasuniformyugoslavia2" and make 4 of for every player soldier and give them to every soldier on the start of mission, would that change anything or would that fix "faces problem"

That was just my suggestion i would try it myself but i dont know how haha, sorry if i'm posting this on wrong thread, and im sorry if you already noticed it so im just wasting your time, i just wanted to share this with you, all good my fellow sas warriors lets make this legend come back to life haha
