Unread post by p.jakub88 » Fri Mar 24, 2017 12:03 am

Hello everyone,

i re-textured the captured German seaplane from the Greek campaign (4th mission) - i removed the red stars.

I will attach the seaplane model and new texture files, so if anyone is interested could download and use it  .

Where are the black crosses?

If you look closely at the red stars, you will see splotched/smeared bar-crosses behind them.

One thing I don't get about the final Greek mission, why don't we, the 4-man team, TAKE the plane, rather than destroy it?

Well, my intention was only to get rid off the red communist stars. That was my first attempt ever made to re-skin a 3d model in game. Since no one was complaining about the outcome i left it as it is.

I see your point.

Still, it looks like the silly "censor" is still turned on.

That reminds me, do you know whose "grinning face" replaces Hitler?

Well, i am using the "Image Decensor" mod: http://oldsite.hidden-and-dangerous.net/deluxe/mods.php

There is a difference in H&D Deluxe, when You enable this mod.

I heard, that in certain countries the Nazi symbols are forbidden by law, so maybe that's why they censored them in H&D Deluxe.
