Hello everyone,

i was thinking recently about creating a brand new map for H&D Deluxe. What software would You recommend for it?

Are there any tutorials for H&D Deluxe mapping? So far i have experience in H&D Editor and simple graphic editors.

For the very beginning i think that i should start with something easy and then proceed to more complex stuff.

Thank You in advance for answer.

Hi Jakub,

I have in this attachment some models to make a new map wihtout 3ds max.
I have 3ds max but i prefer to make maps without it, because it is easier. I hope you like my landscape parts :)
don't forget to give them static collisons, because they come without volumes!

Best regards,
Nils

extract them to models or models.mod folder.
A professional HD folder should look like this:
bin
data
editor
manuals
maps.mod
missions
models
models.mod <- put models here
sounds
sounds.mod

Thanks to NilsZ i am able to use 3ds max 3 software. I already watched few Youtube 3ds max tutorials about creating new terrain models and texturing. Currently i am exporting visuals from default H&D Deluxe maps to convert them to models and use in custom maps.
