You also didn't answer my question about Ardennes 3 mission: do you still have problems with the Tiger tank that couldn't get through map's edge?

I would love to try driving a Sherman tank. If the Fallshirmjager can capture an American fuel dump 100% intact, then surely, they could have captured a Sherman tank, and parked it next to the StuG Assault gun.

OK, i edited the Prague 2 mission once again. thup01

Beside already implemented changes i added a group of Russian soldiers, that will attack from South-East direction.

Please download and test this mission.

OK, i edited the Ardennes 3 mission once again. thup01

Beside already implemented changes i added a Sherman tank near the Stug III. The "captured" Sherman has ammo and fuel. See picture below.

What about the Greece 1 mission? Did i manage to fix the problem with shots going through terrain (solid rock)?

Weird, the Sherman's turret can turn, but the barrel cannot be elevated up-and-down. But I got it to work.
Sadly, like all other tanks, it has these tiny, invisible "weak spots" that allow enemy bullets to hit the crew inside. But it worked!

As for Greece 1, there is another problem. The MG nest problem is taken care of.

But, the church sniper can now spot us in the creek, and the two partisans that patrol the creek-bank now have guns.

OK, i edited the Prague 2 mission again. thup01

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones.

I moved all groups of attacking Russians closer to the map's edge, to give you more time to kill the Germans and save their lives (at least some of them).

I improved the accuracy of all attacking Russian soldiers, making them better in combat.

I changed the settings of all attacking Russian soldiers, so now they will be more aggressive.

I optimized collisions of some buildings and objects.

Now, all the Germans from the AA gun positions will be equipped with Mauser K98 rifle, except those that are manning the MGs and those from the control tower.

Please download and test it.

Very strange. It should moves 22 degrees down and 22 degrees up. See picture below.

Maybe this is hardcoded into the stock Sherman model, so you cannot elevate the cannon's barrel neither up or down?

As you know, in the stock Ardennes 3 mission the Sherman tank is used only in a "cutscene", when the American reinforcements arrived.

I think, that the H&D Deluxe developers never wanted this tank to be used by the player.

I equipped all partisans with various weapons and i don't see anything wrong in that. :-?

I slightly changed the behavior of the church tower sniper, so he will guard the square with well.

I checked again all terrain collisions and they seem OK.

As i remember correctly, there is a place where we are exposed to the sniper's view, even being low in the riverbed. See picture below.

In the stock Greece 1 mission, this was a place that i always chose for starting my attack. First i killed the sniper on the church tower, then all partisans that shown up, preventing them from blowing up the church with civilians inside.

EDIT: I recently played my newest Greece 1 mission uploaded here in this post. Well, i managed to get through the whole riverbed without being discovered by enemy. Neither the sniper in the church tower or any other guards saw me. So, as you see it is possible to remain undetected. You only need to be careful in certain places, that's all.

Please download and test this mission again.

I know about this bug, but this is not my fault. no_03

The H&D Deluxe developers made them this way. :-?

This is a problem with lack of collision on certain spots on the tanks in H&D Deluxe, so there is a possibility to kill the crew inside even with small arms fire. However, the problem was greatly reduced in H&D Deluxe. In the classic H&D 1, you could in example kill the crew of the Tiger located on the cathedral square in Prague 1 mission using weapons like Sten. I did that few times. :grin:
