help who to talk to ??

oke guys major probs here

If been playing omline just fine for month now
but i haven,t hosted a game in months

so i recently tried to host again

But nobody showed up, ok i almost exclusively play coop and the new modded coop missions
but even hosting regular game didnt work

i use gamespy most of the time
oke ok don,t yell!!! :?

but this is my way of checking if my server is up


but now a major issues


I have sabre and when i host a game it doesn,t show up in the gamespy list and i know that normally it does

ok i figure, i screwed up the install with all kinds of stuff so a total new install regular none modded mission

but stil the same prob my xp firewall is correctly set with the right exceptions and upd port open and before i had no prob running the game
with or with out firewall

but now
no go
Firewall off or on make no differents

ok gamespy reinstall,.... no go
Tried hosting hdde luxe,.... no prob game just fine
so gamespy is fine
firewall seem to be fine
and i get no error messages when creating a server
all seems normal just ther standard message

i can join other servers



hd sabre fresh install 1.12 no mod or other packs
gamespy new

Tried my regular accounts and some old non subscriber account in gamespy



Where is the prob ???

sofare i must assume that my server setup works fine
but the only thing is that it wil not get listed so no one can join

i have a good 4mb/dl / 1mb upload provider
so that is not prob either

so WHO am i gonna talk to about this prob ???

gamespy ??? but other game host just fine si in principle my connection is good

microsoft ?? firewall seem to past this stuf just fine and i had no prob with running game with firewall in in the past

my provider ????
did they shut some port down ?
i have dhcp connection

long time since ive been in here... *Sigh*

Anyway, i got the EXACT same problem, i get to host servers but noone can actually see them on the server lists...
My research shows that because i recieves IP adresses automaticlly, i end up getting 2 different IP adresses on my pc, one internal and one external.
If youre capable og changing your IP adress, change it to so that external and internal ip's are the same offcourse... may result in shutting down your internett connection...

If you have a router, you will have internal/external.

Did you or did you not have a router havoc?

Your problem is being caused becuz sumthing on your pc is blocking your pc from sending info on those ports.

You cant just have your firewall configed to recieve packets, you must have it set to send/recieve.

Id shut down that XP firewall and just get a software firewall.

Your router must be set to send/recieve aswell.
